This describes what information Avero Express collects, why, and how you can control it. WHAT WE COLLECT Account information: your name, email, and password when you register, plus phone number and shipping addresses if you add them. Order information: what you bought, from which vendor, and your shipping details, so orders can be fulfilled and tracked. Payment information: handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave, Razorpay, or Mollie). Avero Express does not receive or store your full card number. Verification codes: temporary codes sent to your email for sign-up verification and two-factor login, which expire shortly after they're sent. Usage information: pages you visit and searches you make on the site, used to show relevant products and improve the marketplace. HOW WE USE IT To process and deliver your orders, run your account (including email verification and two-factor login if you enable it), calculate wallet balance and loyalty points, send order and shipping updates, respond to support requests, and improve how the marketplace works. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH Vendors see the order and shipping details needed to fulfill your purchase. They don't see your payment details or password. Payment processors receive what they need to charge you, under their own privacy policies. We don't sell your personal data to third parties. DATA RETENTION We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that to meet tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. YOUR CHOICES You can update your account details or deactivate your account any time from Account Settings. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, email support@averoexpress.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, subject to what we're legally required to retain (like order records for tax purposes). SECURITY Sensitive account data is encrypted at rest, and payment details never touch our servers directly. They go straight to the payment processor. No online platform can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Avero Express isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
